Confidence
Visit websiteCenter for Psychological Assistance "Confidence" is a Ukrainian NGO offering mental health support in Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv regions, and online. Backed by international donors like UNICEF and the Red Cross, the team provides crucial help to adults and children.
CHALLENGE
The old website of "Confidence" was cluttered and hard to use. It was packed with over 1,400 disorganized pages, outdated event listings, and confusing signup forms scattered across various bots and tools. On top of that, the mobile version had major usability issues, and the overall look felt too cold and clinical for an organization built on empathy and trust.
SOLUTION
We delivered a comprehensive redesign package—from a functional SPA-prototype to a fully structured WordPress handoff system—ensuring a smooth transition and seamless content migration.
Project stages
- UX/UI & trauma-informed Design: developed the "Juniper over Canvas" design system using warm tones (juniper, canvas, terracotta) to create an empathetic, emotionally accessible environment that meets WCAG standards.
- Architecture & interactive SPA prototype: built an interactive 120-page single-page application (SPA) prototype, allowing the client to test a live functional platform rather than static layouts.
- Content migration & data restructuring: audited legacy data to deduplicate 364 real client reviews and organize profiles for 96 team members, replacing placeholder text with verified content.
- SEO & URL preservation strategy: engineered a 30-rule redirect map for 1,420 legacy URLs, preserving existing search engine authority and avoiding broken links.
- Multi-agent QA & hand-off package: implemented automated multi-agent QA workflows to verify accessibility, mobile readiness, and performance (reducing image sizes by up to 98%). Delivered a 22 MB handoff package including custom PHP templates, design tokens, and migration CSVs.
RESULTS
- Transformed a cluttered archive into a user-friendly digital platform with separate landing pages for every project, making psychological help fast and easy to find.
- Built deep trust and accessibility for visitors: сombined an empathetic design system with strict accessibility standards (WCAG) and hundreds of real client reviews, creating a warm, inclusive, and reliable environment for people in distress.
- Delivered a high-performance, SEO-safe handoff: protected 100% of the organization’s existing search engine traffic while drastically speeding up the site (up to 98% lighter media) and providing the development team with a turnkey WordPress launch kit.
Confidence’s new digital platform turned a complex, legacy archive into a welcoming, high-performing hub for care. By pairing trauma-informed design with technical precision, we ensured that anyone seeking support can find help quickly, intuitively, and without barriers.
